At some point in a man’s life, his testosterone levels will begin to decrease. However, the symptoms will be unique to each individual in terms of type and level of impact. This can sometimes make detection and treatment difficult. For example, if a man exercises regularly but notices reduced muscle mass and strength, he may just say, “I’m getting old!” Additionally, a loss of focus or lowered sex drive may also be chalked off to aging. Although aging does affect a man’s vitality, these are typically symptoms linked to low testosterone or other hormonal imbalances. The good news is that Low T is treatable!
Because Low T is a complicated condition that presents differently in each man, it takes an expert to understand it within the context of the individual’s health. Just checking your testosterone levels at a clinic will be of limited use. A proper, individualized treatment plan cannot be optimized unless an expert continually monitors and calibrates testosterone levels. In order to achieve the best possible results, a baseline level must be established so that customized treatment can begin.
